SECRETARY RETIREMENT

Toronto, Ontario – AXMIN Inc. (AXM-TSX Venture) announces, in compliance with the rules of the TSX Venture Exchange, that with effect from the close of business on Wednesday July 31, 2002 Michael D. Coulter retired as Secretary to the Corporation.

AXMIN Inc. is a mineral exploration company with a strong focus on gold in highly prospective properties in Africa, including the Central African Republic, Burkina Faso, Mali, Ghana, Senegal and Tanzania.
